    Allan Klauda

Just checked to see if the AHC is still alive and active.  I was a member in the 1970 and 1980s.  Worked and Played with Gene, Mick, Sam, Al, Frank, just to mention a few.  Sandy and Uncle were neighbors and were active for a while with the Simon Girty Long Rifles, one of the many organizations to which I have belonged.  Let’s see, Girtys; Hoisington’s Rangers, 8th/9th PA, Butlers Rangers, 34th Regiment of Foot, all BAR; 8th NY Heavy Artillery NSSA; Royal Artillery, 22nd US Infantry, Ft. Niagara: Long Riders, and of course, AHC.

Life passes along and things change.  But sometimes it is good to remember the past and maybe, just maybe, try some things again.  Thus, I looked up the AHC and found your website.  Nice site, but possibly I missed the part about when does the club have meetings, any shoots scheduled, how does one become a member (again), etc.  Forgive me if this info was apparent and I missed it, but assist an old fart  him in learning this information.

It would be good to see how many of us are still on this side of the ground and see if the eyes/body can still shoot.

Thanks for any help in my inquiry.

Pardon the delay. Usually I monitor the site frequently but the last 2 weeks have been quite busy.

The meetings are scheduled every month (first Sunday) after the monthly shoot. That is when we all meet.

Again, I apologize for the delay. Hope you can meet some of the older members that are still around.

AL, Mick Meilicke. How abut an email to let me know what you have been up to. mick@meilicke.org
